Ukrainian border guards are strengthening protection on the border with Belarus This was stated by the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yevhen Yenin, reports RBC-Ukraine.
He said that the strengthening of the Ukrainian-Belarusian border is being carried out in order to be able to restrain the flow of illegal migrants, if necessary. “The state border guard agencies of Ukraine will be strengthened by personnel, equipment and special means, including drones, and service dogs,” Yenin added.

The deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs also noted that the situation in the border zone is under control, and the Ukrainian border guards are ready for possible provocations with the participation of refugees. “The probable directions by which migrants can get to Ukraine have already been calculated,” he stressed.
Earlier, the former Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk called for the construction of a wall on the border with Belarus. In his opinion, the migration crisis on the Polish-Belarusian border should become the main issue on the agenda of the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council (NSDC).
On November 8, a group of refugees from the Middle East gathered on the border of Poland and Belarus and tried to overcome border barriers. According to the Polish government, the number of illegal migrants has reached three to four thousand people. Warsaw also noted that the camp of illegal immigrants is guarded by Belarusian security forces.
