Head of the Ministry of Health Murashko: about 4.5 million Russians were vaccinated against COVID-19

In Russia, about 4.5 million citizens. This number was named by the head of the Ministry of Health Mikhail Murashko, he is quoted by TASS.

The Minister recalled that due to the spread of a new strain of coronavirus, Russians need to be vaccinated again. This will ensure a high level of antibodies, Murashko said.

“4.5 million citizens have already taken advantage of this opportunity,” he stressed.

Earlier, Murashko said that the first component of the COVID vaccine -19 in Russia 62 million people were vaccinated. Over the past two weeks, over 7 million vaccine kits have been spent in Russia.

He also noted that the current wave of coronavirus among the population of Russia is spreading faster than the previous ones.
