Russians were reminded of a way to get money back for medicines

Lawyer Kurkulite: Russians can get a tax deduction in the amount of the cost of drugs that the state can return money to Russians for medicines.

According to the expert, there are several ways to get the money back. So, you can get a tax deduction for personal income tax in the amount of medical services provided, as well as in the amount of the cost of drugs prescribed by a doctor's prescription and purchased at your own expense for yourself, your spouse, parents and minor children, during the tax period for which you are requested deduction and no later than three years after the end of the year during which the drugs were purchased.

At the same time, the tax deduction cannot be obtained if the Russian received the drugs free of charge. In addition, the tax deduction can be used only if during the tax period an individual had income taxed with personal income tax.

The lawyer recalled that when registering a tax deduction, a doctor's prescription must be brought to the tax authority in the form established By order of the Ministry of Health, signed and certified by the personal seal of the doctor, the seal of the medical organization. It is also necessary to provide a receipt from the pharmacy indicating the purchased medicine; documents confirming marriage, relationship with parents or children under the age of 18, if medicines were purchased for them and the prescription was issued in their name, a license of a medical institution and a certificate in the form of 2-NDFL.

Previously, the General Director of the Russian guild of realtors, the head of the quality control service of Relight-Real Estate, Konstantin Barsukov, spoke about a way to facilitate mortgage payments. The expert recalled that officially employed Russians are entitled to a tax deduction. To obtain it, you need to get a certificate from the tax office, and then apply to the employer's accounting department.
