Nutritionist Anastasia Tarasko: Russians make mistakes when choosing and taking vitamins
Russian nutritionist and endocrinologist Anastasia Tarasko committed by Russians when choosing and taking vitamins. The recommendations of a specialist are published by “Evening Moscow”
The first mistake Tarasco called the fact that Russians often do not take vitamins seriously and do not understand that they have contraindications. Most often, in her opinion, people exceed the prophylactic dosage without expert advice.

The doctor believes that the second mistake is that many take vitamins haphazardly, forgetting to ask about their compatibility. “If a person, for example, has an iron deficiency, then complex vitamins cannot be replenished in any way. You need to take iron with vitamin C separately to enhance absorption. Do not combine iron with other trace minerals. For example, with calcium or magnesium “- said the nutritionist.
In addition, she reminded that at different times you should drink different vitamins. For example, vitamins C and D are needed in winter, but in summer, when there are a lot of vegetables and fruits, you can take a break if there are no medical indications.
Tarasco believes that the third mistake of Russians is that people often “prescribe” these or those vitamins for themselves with various unpleasant symptoms. “If there are any complaints from any systems, it is better to first go to the doctor and get checked. People with allergies, pregnant and lactating women also need caution with vitamins, ”the doctor said.
The fourth mistake, according to the expert, is that many Russians believe that they can get all the vitamins they need from food. According to the nutritionist, this is possible only when a person is completely healthy, he has no digestive problems and he eats exclusively fresh farm products. In addition, the deficiency of vitamin D cannot be replenished with the help of food, living in regions where there are few sunny days.
Tarasco believes that the fifth mistake is the distrust of Russians towards domestic producers of vitamins. New forms of vitamins, such as fermented or produced from natural extracts, are better absorbed and come to Russia from abroad, but local analogues are no worse.
Earlier, Anastasia Tarasko spoke about inexpensive products that will help you lose weight. In her opinion, vegetables of different colors should be added to the diet, except for those that contain a lot of starch, such as corn and potatoes.
