Experts noted that there are four ways to speed up the charging of smartphones from Apple. First of all, the authors recommended abandoning the five-watt adapter, which were equipped with devices of the American brand until 2020. According to experts, the power of such adapters is not enough to quickly replenish the iPhone battery.
Another way to speed up charging, the journalists called the rejection of wireless accessories. For example, even in a branded MagSafe charger, the power is artificially reduced to reduce the likelihood of overheating the gadget. In this case, it is recommended to buy a special adapter that supports fast charging – such devices are produced by both Apple partners and third-party companies.
In conclusion, the authors advise to carefully select a charger for the iPhone, purchasing accessories with USB Power Delivery support (USB-PD). “You still won't see the same iPhone charging speed that some Android phones offer,” the authors summed up.
