Roskosmos said that they are studying the available data. “According to preliminary information, a fragment of the Fengyun-1C spacecraft will approach the International Space Station on November 12 at about 4 am Moscow time,” the state corporation said.

In May 2009, AFP reported that the American spacecraft Atlantis and a fragment of the Fengyun-1C spacecraft approached at a distance of about 3 kilometers.
