In Noginsk, the bank of the Klyazma was strengthened and the embankment was improved
In Noginsk, the embankment along the Klyazma River was landscaped. In 2020, the project won the All-Russian competition for creating a comfortable urban environment in small towns and historical settlements, which was initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was reported in the Instagram account of the press service of the governor and the government of the Moscow region.
“Before the improvement, there was a real wasteland here. Now there is a comfortable, modern embankment, which will become one of the main and favorite places for recreation of residents and guests of the city, “said Minister of Improvement of the Moscow Region Mikhail Khaikin.
The embankment connected the historical part of the city with all large public spaces and cultural objects. It has sections of different functionality and character: “Embankment of the Central Market” and “Embankment of the 60th anniversary of October”.
Landscaped area 750 meters long. Along the river, footpaths were made from a terrace board, viewing platforms, a bicycle path. A wooden amphitheater and piers were installed near the water. A children's play area and car parking appeared on the embankment. The coast was fortified with gabions. In addition, there is a new street lighting system.
