“I'm not going to mark my messages on social networks as a foreign agent yet,” Pavlov said. He is quoted by the Telegram channel “We Can Explain.” The lawyer intends to appeal against the decision of the Ministry of Justice. “It seems to me important to understand what served as the legal basis for including me and my colleagues in the register of foreign agents. We will appeal this decision for sure, “he concluded.
Earlier in October, the Russian Ministry of Justice included the journalist-foreign agent publication in the register of foreign agents. The organization was created by Lyudmila Savitskaya, who was previously recognized by the foreign agent as an individual. It was included in the register at the request of the media itself.
Prior to that, the publications OVD-Info, Vostochnye Stories, Meduza, VTimes, Project and Radio Liberty were recognized as foreign agents.
