Russian citizen Evgenia Polyanina was charged in a cyber extortion case in the amount of up to $ 13 million. According to him, the REvil program affected about 175 thousand computers around the world, the cybercriminals were paid at least $ 200 million in ransom.

On November 8, it became known that the US authorities are planning to present Russian citizen Yevgeny Polyanin and Ukrainian citizen Yaroslav Vasinsky conspiracy charges for fraud and money laundering. Both suspects are believed to be members of the REvil organization.
