“Interfax”: prisoners staged a riot in the prison complex where Saakashvili was transferred

It is reported that the inmates of the buildings adjacent to the hospital make a lot of noise and protest by turning on and off the lights in the cells. In addition, obscene language is heard from the windows.
It is noted that the police, including the special forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, have been mobilized in the territory adjacent to the hospital, and a water cannon and fire-fighting vehicles have been installed in the courtyard.
Previously it was reported that Saakashvili, who went on a hunger strike 39 days ago and was transferred to a prison hospital, physically and verbally abused the hospital staff. The incident is being studied by the General Inspectorate of the Ministry of Justice, after which an appropriate decision will be made.
Mikhail Saakashvili was detained in Georgia on October 1 after he illegally entered the country. The politician was imprisoned under a sentence that was passed in absentia to him in the cases of the murder of banker Sandro Girgvliani several years ago. Saakashvili went on hunger strike in prison.
