The meeting took place on Sunday, November 7, and ended with a score of 5: 1 in favor of the hosts. Among the winners, goals were scored by Khoren Bayramyan, Dmitry Poloz, Pontus Almqvist, Ali Sow and Daniil Glebov. Soltmurad Bakaev scored among the guests.
The devastating victory helped Rostov to score 16 points and take tenth place in the championship. Rubin has three points more and is in eighth position.
Rostov will host Ufa in the next round on November 21. Rubin will play Sochi away on the same day.
