The meteorological winter will come to the Moscow region five days later – November 15. This date was named by the leading employee of the Phobos weather center, Yevgeny Tishkovets, RIA Novosti reports.
“On Monday, November 15, precipitation will only be in the solid phase – snowfalls, it will get colder to zero or minus five, snow cover up to several centimeters thick will form, “the forecaster noted.
He specified that the snow cover in Moscow will be about two to three centimeters, and in the Moscow region in some places up to eight centimeters.
Earlier, the metropolitan region was covered with thick fog. Due to the weather phenomenon, there was a massive cancellation of flights at Moscow airports. The scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center, Roman Vilfand, called the fog hanging over Moscow radiation, stressing that it had nothing to do with radiation.
