The diplomat explained that such a step is necessary in order to normalize visa services at US diplomatic missions in Russia. “There are opportunities for this,” he stressed.

According to Ryabkov, Russia is open to any options for the mutual settlement of consular issues. He expressed the hope that the parties will be able to achieve some progress in the next round of negotiations, which will take place in a couple of weeks.
