YEKATERINBURG, July 31. /TASS/. The election Commission took the decision on refusal in registration on elections of the Governor of Sverdlovsk region, the mayor of Yekaterinburg Yevgeny Roizman. On Monday TASS said the Chairman of regional election Committee Valery Dummies.
“Today a meeting of the Commission, which adopted the decision on refusal in registration on elections of the Governor of Sverdlovsk area four contenders – Yevgeny Roizman (“Apple”), Victor Kostromina (“People against corruption”), Oleg Sotnikov (the Party of veterans of Russia) and Olesya Krasnomovets (“Patriots of Russia”). These candidates have not passed in regional election Committee documents for registration in the elections,” said Kettles.
Earlier it was reported that on Thursday, July 27, the regional electoral Commission sent the applicants for the post of head of the region notice of the absence of documents for registration. “Some media erroneously and prematurely accepted this information as an official of the regional election Committee refusal to register these candidates. We’re at that time was just notified. In fact, the decision was taken today, just today come to an end,” explained Dummies.
Elections of the Governor of Sverdlovsk region will be held in a single voting day, September 10. At present, the electoral Commission of the Sverdlovsk region has registered candidates in governors of the state Duma Deputy Igor
Taromina (LDPR), Deputy of the city Duma of Ekaterinburg Dmitry Sergin (Russian party of pensioners for social justice), the Deputy of legislative Assembly of Sverdlovsk region Dmitry Ionin (“Fair Russia”) and the managing Director of “Plus Bank” Alexey Parfenov (CPRF).
