Japan demands that China and Russia to increase pressure on North Korea because of ongoing rocket launches Pyongyang. On Monday, July 31, Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe, reports TASS.
“The international community, first and foremost, China and Russia, should recognize the harsh reality and pressure on the DPRK. We will do everything possible to ensure the safety of our country and protect the population from threats from North Korea,” said Abe.
On Monday, Abe also held a telephone conversation with U.S. President Donald trump. According to him, he agreed with trump on the need to adopt additional measures regarding Pyongyang in connection with the recent rocket launch by the DPRK.
July 28, Japanese media reported on the launch of another missile in the DPRK. Later, the defense Ministry of Russia stated that it had monitored flight parameters of the projectile. The US and South Korea conducted a training launch of a ballistic missile in the Korean Peninsula. The North Korean Agency KCNA reported that the test did not pose a threat to neighboring countries, however, is “a stern warning for the United States.”
