MOSCOW, July 30. /TASS/. Special operation on delivery of the monument to the writer Maxim Gorky out of the Park “Museon” in historical place — the area of Tverskaya Zastava will be held on Sunday in Moscow. This was reported to journalists by the Deputy mayor for housing Pyotr Biryukov.
“In the night from Sunday to Monday the monument will be transported to its historic place,” — said Biryukov. According to him, the monument height of about 5 meters and a width of 2 meters will be placed in a special container, after which it is in horizontal position, fixed on special long-length, truck with extended body and high load capacity.
The convoy, accompanied by cars of traffic police will pass on Bolshaya Yakimanka street, the garden ring and 1-Brestskaya street will deliver the monument on the square of Tverskaya Zastava. “With the passage of the column of traffic in the city limit will not be”, — said the Deputy mayor.
The operation will take a few hours. After the sculpture will take the place, it will begin the installation. On the square of Tverskaya Zastava, has completed work on laying the Foundation and construction of the stylobate of the monument. It is planned that by six in the morning Monday and will conclude this work.
