29 July in the Park of culture and leisure of the Russian Armed forces “Patriot” officially opened the international Military games (Armi-2017). This year they will take place on 22 grounds of the five States: Russia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan and China. Within 14 days from 29 July to 12 August will take place on 28 international competitions, including five new.
On the official website of the Russian Ministry of defence is running an interactive Games section. Around the clock it will be updated with news, vivid photographs and exclusive videos detailing the qualifying stages and final competitions of the teams of military professionals. Also working versions section, including for the first time in Chinese and Arabic.

28 contests will take part 159 teams, which included more than 4 thousand soldiers from 29 countries of Europe, Asia, Central and Latin America, and Africa. They will involve more than 650 units of weapons, military and special equipment of Armed forces of the Russian Federation and more than 80 aircrafts and helicopters of the Russian air force and China, seven warships of different classes of Russia, China, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Iran.
In Armi-2017 will take part Syria, Saudi Arabia and South Africa. Countries — NATO members were also invited to the Game, but only Greece will take part in the competition, in particular in the competition “Sniper line”.
