During the meeting with the acting head of Karelia, Artur Parfenchikov, Russian President Vladimir Putin indicated the main problems in the region, RIA “Novosti”.

Analysis of what went on “straight line” in Karelia shows that one of the most painful issues is housing,” – said Putin.
The President also stressed that local residents complained about slow payment of subsidies for young families, problems with the availability of medical care, lack of specialists in the medical field in small settlements, wage arrears in mono, deforestation in the region. Along with this, Putin noted that claims to Parfenchikov can not be due to the fact that he has been in office five months.
Earlier it was reported that Putin has promised to include long-term care for the elderly in the implementation plan action strategy in the interests of older age citizens by 2020.
