How to ensure your child from three to six passports
Let’s say you are pregnant. Pregnant or your better half.
Usually in this situation, the parents are thinking about how to give your unborn daze as many opportunities as possible in life, once the child grows up.
And what could be better than if at the moment of birth the child will get from automatic and perfectly legal citizenship three, four or even more States? In the future it could, if desired, to travel, to live and work where it is convenient without worrying about visas and residence permits.
Theoretically — from the point of view of laws, both local and international, that can be arranged.
The laws of blood and land
Different countries have different ideas about who and under what conditions receives their citizenship by right of birth.
Some countries offer so-called jus sanguinis — “law of blood”. If at least one parent of a newborn (in some countries it might be even grandma or grandpa) is a citizen of this country, the child automatically gets citizenship.
Such laws exist in many countries — from India to Canada, from Ireland to Tunisia.
