SAVONLINNA, July 27. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin at press conference following talks with President of Finland Sauli Niinistö conveyed greetings to the people of this country cordially greeted his arrival.
In his speech, he noted the hospitality of Finland and thanked the Finnish citizens “who met us in the course of movement here in this hotel for their friendliness and hospitality”. “They’re so friendly, everyone waved his hands. I can’t wave to everyone, but, using the opportunities of Finnish media, they also want to send a Hello”, – Putin said, waving a hand at the camera.
After the translator voiced the words of the Russian leader in Finnish, the Russian President smiled and repeated the welcome gesture again.
