The Minister of culture of Russia Vladimir Medinsky said that the texts of Alexander Pushkin instill basic moral concepts, and if we inspire our youth with the classics, then she will see that “Dubrovsky” is just a blockbuster. It is reported by RIA “Novosti”.
This statement Medina made at the signing of the action plan in the framework of the project “Pushkin’s Union”, aimed at popularization of Russian classics.

“But at the same time, if you can inspire young people, and this is primarily the task of the teacher, she will see that the “captain’s daughter” is a fascinating historical adventure, and “Dubrovsky” — just a blockbuster, it’s very interesting,” said Medina.
As the Minister said, it is clear that to study the novel “War and peace” by Leo Tolstoy together with the history of 1812, and “Sevastopol stories” – along with the history of the Crimean war.
It’s a system software problem, which the Ministry of culture will try to solve together with the Ministry of education and with public organizations, included in “Pushkin’s Union,” added Medina.
Earlier it was reported that the Ministry of culture will support the Studio “Soyuzmultfilm” in the “Pushkin of the Union.”
