A rally in support of Saakashvili started in Kiev
Moscow. July 27. INTERFAX.RU — a Rally in support of ex-President of Georgia, ex-Governor of the Odessa region Mikhail Saakashvili deprived of Ukrainian citizenship, takes place in the center of Kiev.
As the correspondent of Agency “Interfax”, at the Independence square near the stele gathered a few dozen supporters of Saakashvili.
The organizers of the rally urged participants of the rally to put signatures in support of the appeal to the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and Parliament against Saakashvili deprivation of citizenship. The venue of the rally posters “Citizenship, dignity, freedom”, “an Attack on freedom” and “Saakashvili — a citizen of Ukraine”. Organizers stress that the action was peaceful.
People’s Deputy Yuri Derevyanko (independent) at the meeting, said: “We just came from the General Prosecutor. And we, the General Prosecutor Yuriy Lutsenko has very clearly explained that no criminal cases against a citizen of Ukraine Mikhail Saakashvili on the territory of Ukraine. He also explained that no other extradition cases is to date in relation to the citizen of Ukraine Mikhail Saakashvili no.”

On the eve of the State migration service of Ukraine reported that Poroshenko has issued a decree which deprived Saakashvili of citizenship of Ukraine.
