MOSCOW, July 26. /TASS/. The state defense order in 2017 for deliveries of new weapons to date, 34.2%, repair is 42.2%, said Wednesday the Minister of defence of Russia Sergey Shoigu.
“Today, the state defense order is made for the supply of new weapons 34.2%, repair – 42.2%, indicating satisfactory performance of the rhythm of production enterprises of the military-industrial complex,” – said Shoigu on a single day of acceptance of military products. He also noted that, in General, industrial enterprises to conscientiously fulfill its obligations.
Deputy defense Minister Yuri Borisov, in turn, said that the results of the first half of the plan for the supply of main samples of armament and military equipment reached 42.5%. “Given the scale since the beginning of the year of weapons and military equipment, the level of equipment of troops with modern, advanced models in the first half grew by more than five percent and now stands at 58.8%,” – said Deputy defense Minister.
The development of military infrastructure
Shoigu reported that almost 60% of the budget of the state defense order is allocated for capital construction in the first half of 2017, was aimed at the development of military infrastructure.
“I would like to say about the development of military infrastructure. For the first half of its construction was sent to more than 58% of the budget allocated under the state defense order for capital construction,” – said the Minister.
