The CPS proposes to include steam generators (VAPI) in the bill, which equates electronic cigarettes and hookah tobacco. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
“Today the State Duma considered a bill that we strongly supported, and we there proposed to make changes to such devices — the steam generators were made”, — said the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova at the youth educational forum “Territory meanings on the Klyazma”.
The document, which it says extends to e-cigarettes and hookah the prohibitions in respect of tobacco. The bill submitted to the Duma in March.
Introduces the concepts of “electronic Smoking device” and “hookah”, limits their use in some places, and also provides responsibility for involving children in Smoking. For violations punishable with a fine up to three thousand rubles.
The document also talking about banning the sale of e-cigarettes and hookahs to minors. For failure to comply with restrictions in trade on officials and legal entities is proposed to impose fines.
