Russian tourists Friday may not depart from the Turkish city of Bodrum
ANKARA — July 23, RIA Novosti, Alain Palazhchenko. Russian tourists vacationing in the Turkish Bodrum, the third day can not fly to Moscow with airline iFly, told RIA Novosti on duty at the airport Milas-Bodrum Ufuk Chepe on Sunday.
“Unfortunately, the Russian tourists who were supposed to fly on Friday, still remain in Bodrum, as the airline iFly had not sent them the plane. The reasons for this are unknown to me. Tourists staying in the hotel, provided with food,” — said the Agency interlocutor.
He added that the departure is expected at 14.00 GMT. The Consulate General of the Russian Federation confirmed to RIA Novosti that tourists can not fly to Russia.
“We are monitoring the situation and are in touch with the Turkish side”, — told RIA Novosti the representative of the Russian Embassy.
