The state Duma of the seventh convocation has completed the first spring session. This was reported on the official website of the lower house of Parliament on Twitter on Friday, July 21.

At the last meeting of the deputies, in particular, adopted the draft law on regulation of messengers. According to the document, users will be required to undergo identification by phone number.
The speaker of the state Duma Vyacheslav Volodin has told that parliamentarians get back to work in early September. According to him, many of them will spend their vacation in Russia. “As far as I know, most go to the Crimea, going to Sochi, Krasnodar Krai, go to his home. Not necessarily need to go somewhere abroad”, — he told in interview to TV channel “Russia 24”, available on the website Вести.Ru.
On 26 June it became known that the Federation Council extended the work of the spring session until the end of July. While it was originally planned that the senators will go on vacation before the people’s representatives. Because of this, as wrote “Kommersant”, a number of bills could do to the President without the approval of the upper house.
The deputies changed the holiday schedule at the end of last year. MPs was compensated by the extension of the session release in the first two weeks of may. The lower house of the previous one, the sixth convocation has completed its spring session in early July.
The state Duma of the new convocation started its work in October last year. After the elections, “United Russia” has received 343 mandate, the Communist party — 42, LDPR — 39, “Fair Russia” — 23. Two more went to the representatives of the party “Rodina” and “Civic platform”.
