Before returning Kislyak to Russia, July 21, the Embassy hosted farewell reception for colleagues and friends. The diplomat said goodbye to living in the United States countrymen and wished them all the best.
July 18, “Interfax” with reference to sources reported that Kislyak may be delegated to the Federation Council after the September elections.

66-year-old Sergei Kislyak was Russia’s Ambassador to the US since 2008.
