Aliyev and Putin discussed in Sochi the Karabakh issue
BAKU, 22 Jul — RIA Novosti, Vugar Hasanov. The presidents of Azerbaijan and Russia Ilham Aliyev and Vladimir Putin discussed during a working meeting in Sochi, the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, reported the press service of the President of Azerbaijan.
“During the meeting between Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Sochi, the sides discussed issues in connection with the settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict”, — the press-service.
It is clarified that the heads of state reaffirmed the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Russia, stressed successful development of bilateral relations in political, economic, humanitarian and other spheres.
“The meeting also was held exchange of views on international and regional issues. The heads of state expressed confidence that the friendly and strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Russia will develop further”, — noted in the message.
Working visit of Azerbaijan President to Russia was completed on July 22.
