Putin urged the head of the Mari El Republic to pay attention to the “daddy” comments
Russian President Vladimir Putin gave the acting head of the Republic of Mari El Alexander Evstifeeva folder with complaints and appeals of citizens of the Republic, arrived in the Kremlin. On it informs Agency “Interfax”.
According to him, in one of the complaints has been said about “voluntary-compulsory” purchase of school textbooks, and he declared it inadmissible.
“And this program “give textbook school” — if it is done, it is done solely voluntarily. But, judging by what people write, there’s not really voluntarily. This is what I want to pay attention,” instructed the President. He also drew attention from the authorities that many complaints relate to issues of resettlement of dilapidated housing.
In early July, the press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that Putin before a meeting with heads of the regions looks at the complaints of citizens. “It’s such a new practice. And we can say that it is quite effective,” — said Peskov. According to him, this approach allows the President to understand the mood of the Russians and to share this understanding with the head of a particular region.
