The tyrannosaurs could not run

Scientists from Manchester University conducted a computer simulation that allowed us to estimate the speed of a massive bipedal dinosaur. The volume of the muscles, scientists assumed that the speed of a Tyrannosaurus Rex could reach 30 km/h, but when the model was filled with data on the strength of the skeleton, it turned out that these dinosaurs could run faster than 20 km/h.

Professor William sellers, one of the authors of the study, called the t-Rex dinosaur slow, which was not attached to chase prey. He also suggested that in the process of growing model hunting this dinosaur could change.
