The main fears of Russians in the first day of vacation
The majority of Russian tourists are afraid that the first day of the holiday they would have problems connecting to Wi-Fi at the hotel. This is stated in the press release of the company Booking.com submitted to “the Tape.ru” on Tuesday, July 18.
In the survey of 18 thousand travellers from 25 countries, a similar answer was given by 45 percent of the Russian participants of the study. More than a third (34 per cent) of holidaymakers are worried that they won’t like the hotel. In addition, 21 percent worried that their Luggage will be lost.
Tourists from different countries of the world also tend to worry that in the first 24 hours all vacation will not go as they planned. This was stated by 29 percent of respondents. At the same time, 38 per cent expect the beginning of the stay will be the most memorable moment of the trip.
In the study, 57 percent of travelers said that in the first hour after arriving to the hotel ordered room service, 56 percent check work email, 54 percent taking pictures for social networks.
In addition, 26 percent of travellers read online reviews about local restaurants. Almost a quarter keen to make new friends.
