Roskomnadzor will protect the series “Game of thrones” from pirates
Roskomnadzor will take “provisional measures” for the protection of the exclusive rights of the series “Game of thrones”, says the official message of Department.
As reported, Roskomnadzor, at the request of the company “Amediateka”, has the right to broadcast the show in Russia, the office has received 10 definition of Moscow city court about the interim protective measures.
“The measures taken against 123 Internet resources that distribute pirated copies of the series with copyright infringement,” reads the message.
Hosting providers and site owners, as reported by the Agency, notified to remove the content. Otherwise, resources will be blocked.
Earlier it was reported that in the framework of the project “Night in the metro” company “Amediateka” in the night from 17 to 18 July at one of the stations of the Moscow metro will show the first series of the seventh season of “Game of thrones”. The premiere will be held at the station “Mayakovskaya”.
