The head of the international Federation Council Committee Konstantin Kosachev stated the need for Russia to take retaliatory measures in the matter of the arrested in the United States departmenet, RIA “Novosti”.
“In this case the Russian side, apparently, has no choice — there comes a time response. It is not our choice and it will be forced measures. But they must be followed”, he said.
He also said the White house statement about the conditions of the return of property to “ignore the American side of international law” and urged the international community not to tolerate such a line of conduct.
Earlier, a senior official in the White house stated that the US does not intend to return departmenet without anything in return.
