The President of Russia Vladimir Putin instructed Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev to 1 September to introduce reduced rates of insurance contributions to the Russian organisations of the industry of animated films, according to the website of the President.
“To provide entering into the legislation of the Russian Federation on taxes and fees change order to extend the organization of the industry of animated films low insurance rates applicable to Russian organizations that operate in the field of information technologies”, — stated in the message.
In addition, Prime Minister instructed to exempt from VAT transactions for the realization of the rights of use of protected results of intellectual activities used in the creation of films, including animated films, have received a certificate of national film.
Following the meeting with representatives of Russian animation studios, on 31 may, the President instructed the government of the Russian Federation jointly with the Moscow authorities by February 2018 to provide the animation of the Technopark on the basis of “Soyuzmultfilm”.
