American authorities are considering the possibility of returning Russia to its diplomatic property. According to the Deputy assistant to the President Sebastian Gorki, Washington wants to “give a chance” interaction and cooperation with Moscow.
At the end of December 2016, the Obama administration imposed a package of sanctions because of “intervention in election” and “pressure on American diplomats” working in Russia.
Among other things, the U.S. closed access to two residential complexes, the so — called suburban dachas of Russia’s permanent mission in new York and the Russian Embassy in Washington, who are diplomatic property of Moscow. Also, the country was sent to 35 diplomats.
The Russian foreign Ministry actions of Washington called the “legal gatherings in the country of lawyers”.
The position of the White house
In an interview with CNN, Hill said about the need for cooperation between the US and Russia.
“The fact that we may not have a General philosophy that may not have a common view of the statesman of the world, but the point is that there are subjects of General concern”, — said the representative of the administration.
As an example of successful cooperation, the us official cited the situation in Syria.

The pressure on trump

The appeal of the senators was published on the eve of the first personal meeting trump with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The senators also said that they see “limitations” of the desire of Moscow to work “with US”. Politicians urged trump “delete the return object of any negotiations and discussions.”
Moscow’s Position
Russian authorities have already prepared a response to the seizure of diplomatic property in the United States. On Wednesday, the press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov said that Moscow’s patience “running out”.
“The situation is unprecedented: and from the point of view and bilateral Russian-American relations, and from the point of view of international law. So, of course, Russia can not long put up with it, leaving without mutual action. At the same time, we expect that some political will is shown by our colleagues in the USA to correct the violations of international law”, — said Peskov told reporters.
In turn, foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov called the situation outrageous.
“I believe that for such a great country as the United States, a champion of international law, is just a shame to leave the situation in limbo,” said the diplomat told reporters.
The Minister also reminded that the decision on the withdrawal of Russian departmenti took the administration of Barack Obama.

About possible retaliatory measures of Moscow on Tuesday, told the newspaper “Izvestia”. According to the newspaper, the Russian authorities are planning to expel about 30 American diplomats and the seizure of many properties in the USA.
“There is a preliminary agreement on holding the meeting in Saint-Petersburg Deputy Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Ryabkov and first Deputy Secretary of state Thomas Shannon. If there is a compromise is not found, we will have to go to such measures”, — told the newspaper source in the foreign Ministry.
