In the capital of Hawaii in high-rise residential fire
In the capital of Hawaii Honolulu is a 36-storey residential building Marco Polo on Kapiolani Boulevard, the fire started. About it reports the local edition of the Star Advertiser.
According to the newspaper, at least two people were hospitalized for smoke inhalation. Press Secretary of the fire Department Honolulu captain David Jenkins said that in the aftermath of the fire involved 60 rescuers and 20 units.

According to him, the message about the fire on the 26th floor of the building was admitted to the emergency service at 14:15 local time (03:15 GMT). Then the fire spread to 25 and 27 floors. Residents of the building were evacuated, however, Jenkins reported that the skyscraper can still be people. According to eyewitnesses, they saw people in the Windows of the building.
The tower of Marco Polo was built in 1971.
