Russian schoolboy has won at the International chemistry Olympiad
Student from Russia took first place in the 49-th International chemistry Olympiad, held in Nakhon Pathom in Thailand. About it reports a press-service of the Ministry of education and science of Russia.
“The first result and the absolute victory at AA Jigulina — student Pirogovskaya school of Moscow, which became the best chemist in the world [gold]”, — stated in the message.
Another gold medal was awarded Kazan schoolboy R. Kotlyarov. Also, the Russian students. Zhigileva Tyumen and K. Kozlov from Moscow — took two silver.
Preparation of the Russian national team for the Olympics, according to the Department, involved the Dean of chemical faculty of Moscow state University Valery Lunin and lecturer of the same University Ilya Glebov who had previously won a gold at another international competition.
