The meeting of the US President’s son Donald trump Jr. and Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya during the election campaign was “very short”, said at a press briefing, White house spokesman Sarah Sanders, reports Reuters.
“Donald Jr. had a very brief meeting, following which there was absolutely no follow – up actions,” she said.
Sanders added that “the only thing that she considers unacceptable regarding the meeting is that the meeting information was given after she was voluntarily disclosed”.
Earlier it was reported that trump was not aware of meeting his son-in-law Jared Kushner and the Chairman of the campaign headquarters of Paul Manafort with Russian lawyer during the election campaign.
