The court of the European Union will consider the case of clearing Poland Belovezhskaya Pushcha. About it reports on Wednesday, July 12, RIA Novosti reported with reference to the radio RFM FM.
“The European Union commissioners have already decided that Poland will appear before the EU court in the case of increasing deforestation. Officially this will be announced tomorrow,” the radio station.
According RFM FM, it is likely that Warsaw will have to stop work before the settlement of the conflict. So, the decision may be taken by the court of the European Union on the statement of the European Commission.
Earlier, Poland made the decision to produce in Belovezhskaya Pushcha sanitary felling of trees outside the reserve.
Belovezhskaya Pushcha is the largest remnant of the primeval lowland forest — it is believed that this grew in Europe in prehistoric times.
