MOSCOW, July 11. /TASS/. Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev congratulated the 25th anniversary of the founding of Ingushetia residents and the head of the Republic Yunus-Bek Yevkurov. The corresponding telegram published Tuesday on the website of the Cabinet.
“For a quarter century, Ingushetia is developing as an independent region in the United family of fraternal peoples of our multinational country. During this short historical period of time there have been significant changes in the economy, successfully implemented many investment projects in industry and agriculture, the construction industry. Building of new schools, kindergartens, clinics, culture houses, comfortable housing,” – said, in particular, in the telegram.
The Prime Minister said the growth and transformation of the capital of Ingushetia, Magas. “Every year it attracts increasing numbers of tourists who appreciate the hospitality, the unique cultural traditions of the Ingush folklore,” he added.
Republic of Ingushetia was formed in 1992 until its territory was part of the Chechen-Ingush Republic.
