The survey showed how many people in Ukraine consider themselves Russian

KYIV, 11 Dec — RIA Novosti. Ukrainians consider themselves to be 92% of the population of Ukraine, 5% — Russian, according to a survey of a poll of Institute of Gorshenin.

According to the study, which is conducted in cooperation with the representative office of Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Ukraine and the results of which are published on Tuesday, Ukrainian nationality consider themselves to be 92.6% of residents of Ukraine, 5,5% — consider themselves Russian. In addition, 0.3% of respondents said that they considered themselves Belarusians, 0.3% are Moldovans, 0,2% Jews, 0,9% — classified themselves as other nationalities, and 0.3 percent refused to answer.

While 60,4% of the respondents stated that they communicate in Ukrainian house, 37,8% — Russian, 0.5% Tatar, 1,2% — in another language.

The study was conducted in April-June of the current year in all regions of Ukraine except for uncontrolled Kiev areas of Donetsk and Lugansk regions. All were interviewed 2 thousand adult residents.
