Russian President Vladimir Putin praised the cap, capable of controlling the wakefulness of drivers and to rouse in if they start to fall asleep. The device showed the head of state at the international industrial exhibition “Innoprom-2017” in Yekaterinburg, says REN TV Monday, July 10.
The system uses SleepAlert of neyrotekhnologii to identify fatigue, distraction and drowsiness behind the wheel man. It also includes a sensor that is attached to the wrist.
Putin noted the usefulness of the device for bus drivers and truckers. “The correct thing, to know yourself,” he said.
The developers intend to launch a pilot project on testing the system in one of the Russian regions.
During a visit to the exhibition Putin also said that the widespread introduction of advanced technologies considers a powerful resource for the development of the country. In addition, the President told about one of his favorite cars.
“Innoprom-2017” will be held from 10 to 13 July.
