Trump did not indicate what the meeting meant. Ceasefire in Syria was announced after the trump conversation with Vladimir Putin at the summit of the countries “Big twenty” in Hamburg. The Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov confirmed the agreement on a ceasefire in the area of Deraa and Quneitra.
According to him, from 12:00 on July 9 in the area to enforce the ceasefire. According to him, “the United States assumed the duty to comply with the cease-fire by all factions that are there”.
Lavrov added that “at first the security around the area of de-escalation will be provided with the use of forces and means of the Russian military police and in coordination with the Jordanians and the Americans.”

They will operate in the following regions: in the province of Idlib, in areas of Latakia, Aleppo and Hama; in the North of HOMS province; in Eastern ghouta, on the South of Syria — the provinces of Deraa and Quneitra. There will be prohibited the use of weapons, in addition, to deliver humanitarian aid.
