Relations between Russia and the West deteriorated over the situation in Ukraine. Western countries have imposed a series of sanctions against Russia, Moscow has retaliated.
While Moscow has repeatedly rejected accusations of Western countries meddling in the Affairs of Ukraine, stating that it is not a party to domestic conflict in the Donbass and the subject of the Minsk agreements on the settlement.
