MINSK, 8 July. /TASS/. Crimea will forever remain part of Russia, because it is decided by its people in a referendum after the coup in Ukraine in 2014. This was stated by the head of the Russian delegation in the parliamentary Assembly (PA) Vice-speaker of the state Duma Pyotr Tolstoy, speaking in the General debate at the plenary session the annual summer session of the OSCE PA.
On 7 July the General Committee on political Affairs and security the OSCE PA has supported the draft resolution on “the Restoration of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine”, against which was organized by the Russian delegation. On Sunday, he will be considered at the plenary summer session of the OSCE PA.
“At this Assembly we often heard the calls to return the Crimea. Of course, you can continue for a long time, 20-30 years, until you get bored, but Crimea is and always will be part of the Russian Federation. The other will not, because it is decided by the people of Crimea after a coup in 2014 in Ukraine and he clearly expressed their will,” – said Tolstoy.
