The conversation between the two leaders lasted 2 hours and 15 minutes, said the Agency.
Earlier it was reported that the presidency was behind schedule: the schedule of Vladimir Putin’s meeting with his American counterpart was allotted about an hour, and the White house allocated to her 30 minutes.
The talks began at about 17:10 Moscow time — about half an hour after the scheduled time. Journalists were able to observe them only during the first two minutes. At the bilateral meeting, in addition to the leaders, was attended by the foreign Ministers — the foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson.
Moscow said about the possibility of meeting Putin and trump on the sidelines of the G20 for several months. Finally the meeting was only confirmed at the end of June. A platform for first meetings between Russian and American presidents were willing to provide a few countries, including Finland and Slovenia.
