Moscow. July 9. INTERFAX.RU — people’s artist of the USSR Ilya Glazunov will be buried at Novodevichy cemetery, have informed “Interfax” on Sunday, an informed source.
According to him, the decision was taken by the Moscow authorities in response to the request of the family of the artist.
Official announcements about the date and place of the funeral has not yet been reported.
The founder and rector of the Russian Academy of painting, sculpture and architecture, the artist Ilya Glazunov died in Moscow on 88-m to year of life from heart failure, said earlier on Sunday “Interfax” the artist’s daughter.
