The anti-globalization protests raged in Hamburg on the eve of the second day of the G20 summit
Moscow. July 8. INTERFAX.RU — continued-globalization protests in Hamburg on Saturday night on the eve of the second day of the summit of “big twenty”, reports Associated Press.
The most serious clashes of protesters against the summit with the police occurred in the early morning in Hamburg’s Schanzenviertel district, where demonstrators pelted the guards with firecrackers and Molotov cocktails, looted a supermarket and small shops. In this area of the city police arrested 13 activists.
The G20 summit runs from 7 to 8 July in Hamburg.
Demonstration of anti-globalists, outgrown subsequently in the unrest started on the evening of 6 July. In it have taken part about 8 thousand persons.
