Scotland Yard asks for help in solving the mystery of the finger found
Scotland Yard appealed to the citizens with the request to help to establish the identity of the person whose finger was found in London almost seven years ago, and to share any useful for the investigation information.
A human finger was found in Bloomsbury on 4 December 2010. However, the police still have no information about the circumstances in which the finger was separated from the body, and to whom he can belong.
The finger found the dog in the back yard of the idle store on the street Woburn walk.
The police thoroughly searched the area but found nothing.
The analysis showed that the finger belonged to a man, but a DNA test showed no match with any of the missing or wanted at that time people.
The place where you found the finger, is about 200 metres from Tavistock Square, 7 July 2005, a suicide bomber detonated a bomb in a double-Decker bus, killing 13 people. Police checked the DNA of the dead and injured in the explosion, but also did not find a match.
The DNA results uploaded to the national database for missing people, but the investigation is still no significant progress.
“It’s a real mystery. If anyone has any information, no matter how insignificant it seems, the urge to contact us,” said detective Tom Boone.
