On Tuesday the President of Russia Vladimir Putin met in the Kremlin with President of China XI Jinping. The two leaders discussed issues related to the Korean Peninsula and Syria. Following the visit it is planned to approve the action plan for the implementation of the Treaty on neighborhood, friendship and cooperation for 2017-2020.
The last time Putin and XI met in June in Astana at the summit of the Shanghai cooperation organization (SCO). In may, the President visited China.
